LI3RE PRIZE 2025: Visual Arts Competition

APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN from January 15th to April 30th, 2025

Li3Re Prize

We live in an era of a return to quality; every bite must be unique, because life may be short, but it should be good, beautiful, and original. For this, craftsmanship is essential on one side, to create products made with artistry, and art itself is needed on the other, to make them unique, true masterpieces of excellence. This is why Italian and international companies invest in the unique quality and aesthetics of their products. Just think of Nescafé Dolce Gusto® collaborating with NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti) in Milan, Poste Italiane with the “Pacco d’Artista,” Eni with Gaetano Pesce’s exhibition, or the recent partnership between Louis Vuitton and the artist Yayoi Kusama.

It is becoming increasingly clear to everyone: we need to bring art everywhere.

1. LI3RE – Competition for Painting, Sculpture, and Digital Arts
The Li3Re project was born with the idea of promoting the culture of beauty, providing artists with the necessary tools to evolve, direct their art, and develop a greater sense of collective sensitivity.
The goal is to build a relationship that fosters knowledge and connection, sensitizing both the audience and the artist. The union of art and business is becoming an essential synergy for any industry. Promoting artists and helping them become leaders of excellence means encouraging industries to engage in these collaborations, improving product quality, and contributing to the spread of a growing awareness and culture of beauty.

2. Purpose and Objectives – LI3RE PRIZE
The purpose of the Li3Re Competition is to raise awareness among businesses about the importance of art and to encourage artists to collaborate, creating a new hub that inspires and facilitates a meeting point between art and industry. Discovering new talents and encouraging creativity represents a social commitment, similar to the role the Church played in the past by funding artists.
Li3Re is proud to organize, in collaboration with Space Gallery of Modena, the First Edition of an important initiative: the LI3RE PRIZE Art Competition.

The primary goal of the LI3RE PRIZE is to make art accessible and encourage its use. Equally important is to provide all competition participants with feedback on their work, including a technical sheet describing strengths and weaknesses, as well as a review of their work. This ensures that every artist, even those not selected for the final event, receives constructive suggestions and material to improve upon.

3. Theme and Categories
The competition is open-themed, leaving it entirely up to the participants to decide.
The categories include painting, drawing, printmaking, calligraphy, sculpture, photography, digital art (2D, 3D, or NFT), artistic jewelry, mixed media, ceramic art, video art, installation, performance, textile art, and fiber art.

4. Participation Criteria
There are no age or professional restrictions for entering the competition.
Each applicant can participate by emailing all required documentation, images, and attachments to prize@li3re.com, as per the Official Regulation, duly completed and signed (see ATTACHMENTS 1,2,3). Applicants must also submit high-resolution images of up to three (3) artworks and pay a participation fee of €70,00 to partially cover the organizational and management expenses of the competition. Students from Schools and Academies can benefit from a discounted participation fee of €50,00.
For members of the ERGO platform community, registration is free until February 20th. After this date, the participation fee for ERGO members will be €35,00 (converted to the current exchange rate).

The submitted artworks must be original and may be either previously published or unpublished. The jury will have the discretion to select one artwork from each candidate to include in the competition, adhering to the projects goals of promoting creative quality and excellence.

5. Jury and Selection
The Preselection Jury is composed of Maestro Lorenzo Fioranelli (www.lorenzofioranelli.com) and Maestro Giosuè Deriu (www.li3re.com). For the final winner selection, an exclusive International Jury (I.J.) will be involved, consisting of esteemed professionals and representatives from the international art and business scene. Preselection involves evaluating artists’ works through a technical and artistic analysis of the submitted pieces. A detailed EVALUATION SHEET will be compiled for each artist, highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of their work. This sheet will be shared with the respective candidates and will include an overall score based on various criteria (quality, research, originality, technique, and contemporaneity). Based on the scores, 100 candidates will be preselected. Following further careful analysis, this list will be narrowed down to 40 finalists who will have the opportunity to exhibit their works in a collective exhibition lasting three months (June to August 2025) at the prestigious Montina Winery halls, in the heart of the Franciacorta region (www.montinafranciacorta.it).
The final event and the Winner Awards Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, June 11th, 2025.

6. Prizes and Recognitions
The prizes consist of monetary awards, visibility, and exhibitions.
These prizes have added value as they represent the first Italian art event with an international outlook, promoting excellence and fostering synergies between art and potential realities. They also provide visibility, collaborations, and promotions, supported by Li3Re.
